Skills are reusable instruction packs that SuperAgent can draw on to complete a task a particular way. Instead of repeating the same guidance in every conversation, you package it once as a skill, enable it, and attach it wherever you need it — a New Chat, a Project, or an Agent.

Why Use Skills?

  • Consistency — Every conversation that uses a skill follows the same instructions.
  • Reuse — Write guidance once, then apply it across chats, projects, and agents.
  • Sharing — Package expertise and share it with individual teammates or entire teams.
  • Less setup — Ready-made skills from the library cover common tasks out of the box.

Opening Manage Skills

The “Skills” item in the left sidebar opens the “Manage Skills” modal in place — there’s no separate page to navigate to.
Skills are gated by a feature flag and team permissions. If you don’t see the “Skills” item, your team may not have it enabled yet, or an admin hasn’t granted you access.

The Table at a Glance

Manage Skills opens to a table with two tabs that show counts: “Your skills” and “Shared with you”. Each row includes:
ColumnWhat it shows
SkillThe skill’s id (slug)
Last updatedWhen it last changed
Used inUsage counts, e.g. “3 chats, 2 agents”
Author”You” for skills you own
EnabledA per-row toggle
⋯An actions menu (edit, share, export, delete, and more)
Header controls let you search, sort, filter, “Browse” the library, and “Add” a new skill.

Custom vs Library Skills

  • Custom skills are ones you create or upload yourself. You can edit, share, and export them.
  • Library skills are ready-made templates maintained by Generate. You enable them with “Add” and disable them with “Remove”. Library skills can’t be shared.
