Yes. Your documents and conversations stay within your organization’s environment. Generate does not use your data to train AI models. Your administrator controls data access and retention policies.
Generate supports multiple AI providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Groq, Cohere, and AWS Bedrock. Your administrator chooses which models are available for your organization.

Chat & Conversations

When documents are uploaded to the Knowledge Base, Generate reads and indexes them. When you ask a question, it searches for relevant content and uses it to generate an accurate answer. Learn more →
Yes. Click the paperclip icon in the chat input to attach files. The AI will read the file and use it to answer your questions. Learn more →
Your conversations are visible only to you unless you explicitly share them. Administrators may have access for oversight purposes depending on your organization’s policies.
Yes. Hover over a conversation in the sidebar, click the options menu, and select Delete. Note that deleted conversations cannot be recovered. Learn more →
The AI’s accuracy depends on the quality and completeness of your Knowledge Base. If answers seem off, check that relevant documents are uploaded and up to date. Also try being more specific in your questions.

Individual files can be up to 200 MB. There’s no limit on the number of files.
Most documents are processed in seconds to a couple of minutes, depending on size. Large files may take a few minutes.
Currently, Generate does not support direct image uploads as standalone files. However, Generate can process and understand images that are embedded within documents, including tables, charts, infographics, and other visual elements found in PDFs, Word documents, and other supported file formats.
