Artifacts aren’t locked inside Generate. You can view the source behind an artifact, and export most of them to formats you can share, open offline, or drop into another tool.

Preview vs. Code

For HTML artifacts and HTML, Markdown, or SVG scripts, the Artifacts panel shows a segmented pill toggle:
  • An eye icon for Preview — the live, rendered view (this is the default).
  • A code icon for Source — the syntax-highlighted source.
SVG scripts render in a sandboxed frame by default; flipping the toggle shows the underlying code.

Standalone Interactive HTML

The Download menu offers HTML for any Generative UI view. This exports a single standalone .html file that re-renders the artifact fully interactive offline — open it in any browser and it works without Generate. When the export finishes you’ll see “Exported as interactive HTML.”
Custom sandboxed components can’t be exported. In that case you’ll see: “Interactive components can’t be exported — view them in the app.”

Exporting Charts and Diagrams

Charts and diagrams (the visual kind) export as images from the Download menu:
  • SVG — True vector output for a single chart or diagram.
  • PNG / JPG — Raster images, including for composite views.
You can also use Copy in the panel header to copy a chart straight to your clipboard as an image.
SVG export stays a true vector for a single chart or diagram. Composite views (like multi-chart dashboards) rasterize to PNG instead.

Exporting Tables

Data tables (the tabular kind) export as CSV from the Download menu, and Copy copies the table as TSV — ready to paste straight into a spreadsheet.
