The Tableau connector links your Tableau account to Generate so you can access published data sources and workbooks using natural language.

Connecting Tableau

Open the Connectors modal

Open Connectors and select the Apps tab. See Setting Up a Connector for the generic mechanics.

Find Tableau and click Connect

Locate Tableau in the connector catalog and click Connect.

Enter your API key

Provide a Tableau personal access token (API key) so Generate can authenticate to your site.

Confirm the connection

Save and verify the connector shows as Connected.
The data sources and workbooks available in Generate depend on the site and project permissions tied to your personal access token.
