The Power BI connector links your Microsoft Power BI account to Generate so you can query datasets and reports using natural language.

  • Combine sources — Blend Power BI data with your other connected sources

Connecting Power BI

Open the Connectors modal

Open Connectors and select the Apps tab. See Setting Up a Connector for the generic mechanics.

Find Power BI and click Connect

Locate Power BI in the connector catalog and click Connect.

Complete Microsoft OAuth

You’ll be redirected to sign in with your Microsoft account and authorize Generate to access Power BI.

Confirm the connection

After authorizing, verify the connector shows as Connected.
The datasets and reports available in Generate depend on the workspaces and items your Microsoft account can access in Power BI.
